What does this mean?

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships. Virtual events are where there are no physical controls being used. Your presence at a control is registered using an App on your mobile phone, normally the free MapRun6 App.

These are the courses for the Double Sprint races for the combined CRET weekend results for Saturday and Sunday and for the South East Orienteering Association Sprints on the Sunday.

Course 4 W16-, M16-, W55+, M65+

Course 5 W65+, W75+, M75+

Course 6 W12-, M12-

Entry Details

Seniors £10/12/14

Juniors £6/7/8

These are the Early Bird, Standard and Late entry rates respectively.

Early Bird entries are before midnight on 1 February 2026

Standard entries are before midnight on 10 May 2026

Late entries are subject to map availability from 11 May 2026 onwards and will stay open until there are no longer maps available on some of the courses.

There is a £2 discount automatically applied to those who enter both the Saturday and Sunday races (£1 discount for junior entries).

Juniors are under 21 on £1 December 2026. Students aged 21 and over in full time education will also be charged the junior rate.

SI timing chip devices are available for hire as follows: Standard £1, SIAC for Contactless punching £2:50. Lost cards charged at £25 and £65 respectively.
