Map / Terrain

Map scale 1:7,500 with 5 metre contours

Map will be printed on A4 waterproof paper

Mixed forest with interesting contour features. Some recent felling but the course has been designed to largely avoid these areas.

Marked vegetation boundaries in forest and several of the features shown as "bush or small tree" are due to the presence of evergreens.

Please note that some of the boundaries are not visibly marked on the ground so it is possible to find yourself off the map. Take care near the edges of the area and especially in the north east where the slopes down to the karting track are near vertical in places and some slopes are unfenced. The courses have been planned to stay away from boundaries.

Some of the mountain bike tracks are becoming less distinct but for clarity are shown as a full dashed line; fewer rides post COVID?

Course Information

Courses :

Suitable for all abilities. 60 minute score event. Twenty controls in total made up of two sets of ten controls (80s and 90s).
