This first video describes the map and how to use it. It is aimed at parks and woods where there are permanent marker posts erected by the landowner but the map and the principles are the same. It also covers the legend on the map.
Permanent Orienteering Courses
This second video is more related to an event. It shows the equipment that you will carry on a finger and then how you use it on the course. The video also features the orientation (setting) of the map so that the top of your map is always held facing north, which is key to successful orienteering as everything you see then lines up with the map.
