Success for DFOK at the final KOL
The final KOL of the season took place on Saturday 25th May at Jeskyns Community Woodland and Ashenbank. There was still a lot to play for in the league and this was the last chance to improve your standing. The area is a mixture of open parkland with some denser forest in Ashenbank and so it was going to be fast and furious at times but also require some fine navigational skills for those on the longer courses.
There were some great results by DFOK members on the day especially on the tricky blue and green courses with David Lobley and Ella Pyman both finishing third and Rosie Merry finishing second on the Score course. The league standings were then announced and DFOK had nine top three finishers, with three of our members, Antoine Pesenti, Allison Page (only just from Ella!!) and Isla Findlay, managing to win the league for their courses!! Congratulations to everyone who competed in the KOL this season, especially all the medal winners, and we look forward to seeing you all back in September.
