Kent Orienteering League 2025/26
The final KOL took part on Saturday 16th May at Shooters Hill. There was still a lot to play for in the league and this was everyone’s last chance to move up the rankings into medal positions. This was especially true on the blue men’s course which was being hotly contested by our own Antoine Pesenti and Donatis Tumaitis from Chig. Antoine had to win and beat Donatis to take the trophy. It was going to be close.
We had some great results on the day with several achieving a top 3 position, namely Elaine Eyers 1st on Score, Joseph Embleton 2nd on Orange, Antoine 2nd on Blue and Ella Pyman 3rd on Green.
The league standings were then announced and DFOK had 7 top 3 finishers with 3 overall winners, Andrew Pitcher on men’s green, Adam Davidson on junior men’s green and Elaine Eyers on the Score course. Although Antoine did beat Donatis, they were both beaten on the day by Jevgenijs Petrovs so Antoine finished 2nd overall in the league standings.
