Kent Orienteering League 2022/2023
The final KOL of the season took place on Saturday 27th May at Betteshanger Country Park. There was still a lot to play for in the league and this was the last chance to improve your standing. The park sits on the site of a former colliery spoil heap but has been converted to a large outdoor space with many paths and rough open areas. It was going to be fast and furious for the final event!
There were some great results by DFOK members especially on the 3.6km orange course with Adam Davidson winning it and Ruby Gisby finishing 3rd! The league standings were then announced and DFOK had seven top three finishers, with two of our members, Adam Davidson and Isla Findlay, managing to win the league for their courses!! Congratulations to everyone who competed in the KOL this season, especially the medal winners, and we look forward to seeing you all back in September.
