New to Orienteering?

Orienteering is an exciting outdoor adventure sport which involves navigating around a course using a detailed map and sometimes a compass.
The aim is to navigate between a set of control points and decide the best route to complete the course in the quickest time. It does not matter how young, old or fit you are, and you can run, walk or jog round the course and progress at your own pace.

JROS Czechia Tour 2024

Luke Bennett has recently been on the Junior Regional Orienteering Squads tour of Czechia.

He summarised the trip as follows: "Overall, Czechia was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about orienteering aboard. Dan said our clubs were welcome back at any time for a training week, and would help us sort out training areas, so perhaps in the future we can go on a club tour to Czechia! I would like to thank all the coaches on the tour for making it an enjoyable experience whilst also learning lots about international orienteering. I would also like to thank DFOK and SEOA for their contributions that allowed me to go on this tour."

Here is the full report of the trip.
