Options available

1 Score event in Danson Park and Bexleyheath streets
A 60 minute score event.

Print the map of the course
Download the App MapRunF to your mobile phone then within the App, go to UK, then London South East and select Bexley and the event called Danson Park & Bexleyheath. Once done, press Go to Start and the map should appear.
The four controls inside Danson Park are all on paths. All controls in the streets are fire hydrants, electricity substations or post boxes. The control descriptions are here.

All controls are worth 20 points.  There is a penalty of 10 points for each minute or part of a minute late back.

2 Score event in Danson Park
This option uses the permanent orienteering posts in Danson Park (print page 2 of the leaflet). It does not use the MapRunF App. Record your own time and ideally do a GPS trace on your watch to record your visit to the controls. This can be uploaded to routegadget on the DFOK website. Alternatively, or if you do not have a GPS watch, you can draw the route you went into routegadget. Under both options, add your time.

Ensure social distancing is maintained at all times. In line with current Government guidance, members are to complete these courses alone, within a household group, or with one person from outside their household from whom they must stay two metres apart at all times.

This event crosses busy roads hence must not be attempted by anyone under the age of 16, even if they would be accompanied by an adult.
As with all street orienteering events please take care crossing roads. There are many suitable crossing points on all the major roads in the area.
