Trophy Presentation 2020
Our new chairman Antoine Pesenti was recently "presented" with the trophy for the best senior performance in the South East League events 2019/20. This was performed by the previous winner Geoff Goodwin in a unique and socially distanced way as shown in the following sequence of photos.

Kent Night Cup series resumes
With the resumption of orienteering from 2 December, the Kent Night Cup events will restart with the next one being on Thursday 10 December at Angley Wood, near Cranbrook. This event is in Tier 3, as will be a majority of the Kent Night Cup events. Following consultation with participating clubs including DFOK, Saxons have issued the following information on how the league may work.

Saxons Winter Challenges
Our friends in Saxons have also commenced a Winter MapRun series of activities, theirs being Score events in mainly urban settings. The first five are now available and more will be added. See here.
Bear in mind that all these events are currently in Tier 3 so, from 2nd December, they will not be accessible to club members who live in a Tier 2 area until British Orienteering's current COVID guidance changes.

Challenge 13 Lloyd Park and East Croydon
Our last of the Weekly Challenges. We have a Line Course of 2.5km entirely within Lloyd Park using an Orienteering map and a 60 minute Score course in and around the park and East Croydon. The Score course uses an Open Orienteering Map. Both activities use the MapRunF App. Everyone is welcome to have a go, DFOK members and others.
