LESS ABLE:	Good path network, particularly to N and E	North not suitable due to height

	Kent Open Spaces


	Shorne Woods Country Park, Nr Gravesend, accessed from the A2 at the Shorne/Cobham junction then follow signs to Country Park. The Park is mainly mature woodland with some heath and an old clay workings and is a very attractive park. As well as the permanent course there are other facilities including; way marked trails, a new Park Centre with toilets(including disabled) and cafe as well as picnic areas. There is a car parking fee. There are other woodlands adjacent such as Ashenbank Wood (Woodland Trust) a short walk away on the other side of the A2. In addition, other woodland walks through to the old Mausoleum are becoming available soon.
